Resumen

This study analyzed the relationship between assessment strategies applied in Veterinary Anatomy and the academic performance of first-semester students at the University of Guayaquil (2024–2025). Its objective was to identify student perceptions of these strategies and their impact on performance. A quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive-correlational, cross-sectional design was used. Data were obtained through Likert scale surveys and official grades. The results showed a moderate association between review time and performance, while other correlations were weak. It is concluded that other factors significantly influence student performance.
