Strategic and prospective planning under the updated Legislative Decree No. 1088: A systematic review

Abstract
In this review article, a brief review of different bibliographic sources related to issues related to strategic and prospective planning was carried out, so that these terms can be individually conceptualized from different perspectives. The main objective is to conceptualize, from different perspectives, strategic planning, as well as to explain its origin, in addition to showing the importance of the correct interpretation of the prospective. It seeks to emphasize the importance of effective and timely government policies in the different social and economic sectors of national interest. More than 20 different sources were found with relevant concepts to conceptualize the research variables, explain the history and evolution of strategic planning, emphasizing Latin America, in addition to explaining the relationship between strategic planning, prospective and socio-economic development that it may generate.
