Abstract

The importance of entrepreneurship as factors of dynamization of the economy is recognized, generating opportunities that increasingly integrate more people into the national productive apparatus; It is important to highlight within this sector social enterprises, understood as self-sustaining non-profit projects, which seek to face a social problem, mainly through the associative economy system. Thus, these ventures are developed in a context where public policies are decisive for their development, so this work seeks, through a bibliographic review, to define social entrepreneurship, identifying its problems and analyzing the impact they have had. the said policies in the promotion of the sector. In this way, slow growth of the sector is identified, in a regulatory and administrative framework designed based on national plans and under the Constitutional mandate, evidencing shortcomings in terms of the evaluation of the programs and projects concerned, lack of support for access to international markets and low intervention in the rural sector.
