Gamification and Artificial Intelligence in Mathematics Teaching: Innovative Strategies for the Development of Logical Thinking in Education
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article studies the effect of gamification and artificial intelligence when used together in mathematics classes, paying specific attention to strengthening logical thinking in students in the early stages of schooling. Given the persistent difficulties still encountered in conventional teaching of this subject, the authors propose a framework that combines technological innovations and active learning principles with the explicit aim of offering a more tailored, stimulating, and productive experience for students. These findings support the idea that AI-assisted gamification can function as a comprehensive approach to strengthening logical-mathematical skills in the classroom. The methodology designed here, therefore, offers valuable inputs for curriculum redesign and the creation of evidence-based educational practices. Furthermore, the results open up avenues for investigating how to sustain personalized learning through AI, how students can regulate themselves cognitively with these tools, and how the proposal could be transferred and adapted to different educational contexts.
